Join us at The University of Queensland for a huge family fun day and walk
to help raise much needed funds for animals in need.

What's happening

We're celebrating 30 years of Million Paws Walk! Give your pooch a real treat by coming along to the largest event on the canine calendar. Join us at UQ St Lucia for a great dog-friendly day out, and help raise vital funds for animals in need.

Expect lots of fun at this year’s event! Registration opens at 8:00am and a leisurely 2km walk along the river will kick off at 10:30am.

Before and after the walk, hang around with your pooch for the rest of the fun! Enjoy a range of delicious food vans, plenty of stalls to browse, competitions and games for you and your dog, live entertainment, and much more!

It’s set to be a tail-waggingly good day for the whole family, so come on down to the Forgan Smith Lawn at UQ to support a great cause.

The event village, walk route, and amenities are all accessible. The walk route is 2km, however there are opportunities to turn back earlier for those that would prefer to walk a shorter distance. There will be plenty of shade, seating, and first aid services available if required. 

Parking

Plenty of free parking will be available within the university grounds. We recommend P8 off Sir William MacGregor Dr as the closest parking for the event.
