Did you know that Ava was an RSPCA rescue dog?
She was thrown, stood on and strung up by her front legs by children when she was only 10 weeks of age.Â
She was 750g when I met her. She had a dislocated shoulder and fractured humerus for SIX WEEKS before receiving veterinary attention.Â
Without the assistance of the RSPCA, Ava wouldn't be living a life full of love and happiness. She would probably have succumbed to the abuse.Â
Did you know that nearly 20,000 dogs were cared for by the RSPCA in 2022-23?Many of these precious pups are victims of cruelty, bred for profit, abused by their owners or abandoned. Even one dog is too many.
That’s why I'm walking and wagging at Million Paws Walk. I'm on a mission to raise funds in the fight against animal cruelty.
